About the event
Four local high school students were competitively selected to participate in this year's Pilgrimage for Youth (PFY) trip. They were nominated by two of their teachers, and each student submitted an essay on a social issue that was important to them.
They will join high school students around the world to study and participate in discussions concerning world affairs. They will spend 2 weeks this July in New York City, exchanging ideas with other attendees, including a visit to the United Nations (UN), as well as visiting Philadelphia, Gettysburg, Washington, D.C., Boston, and Niagra Falls.
